What to expect:

On this itinerary, I combine the conventional open vehicle game drives with the 4 days, 3 nights, Primitive Backpack Trail for a more holistic nature experience. The safari starts and finishes in Gauteng.

The first day after we pick up we travel through the highveld of Mpumalanga Province exploring the wonders on an all-inclusive Panorama Route. We overnight at Sabie River Bush Lodge at our tented camp.

On day 2 and the morning of day 3 we explore Kruger National Park on guided open vehicle game drives not only looking for the Big 5 but everything else that comes our way.

The last leg of the safari is the all-inclusive Primitive Backpack Trail where you can fully submerge in a holistic nature-based experience where you are a participant and not just a mere spectator from a vehicle.

About the Primitive Trail:

These 4-day trails take place across exclusive properties in the Greater Kruger National Park – Timbavati PNR. Groups set their own pace and explore according to their interests and capabilities.
